Stayed here (young travelling couple) over the Christmas season when we visited the Grampians. The location is very central to the town and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants/bars/fast food places. The room had amazing aircon and the pool facilities were fantastic. The owner/manager was so friendly and accommodated our late morning check out even though we left it until the night of our stay to ask and he had a full inn! Didn't try the breakfast but the menu looked great. The bed was extremely comfortable and the power of water in the shower was very strong. Room was really really spacious and the TV had foxtel which was quite nice. The rooms are a little older but we were extremely happy. Thanks again for a great stay! It wa only one night but we will definitely be back if we're going to travel to the granpians again. Best hotel/inn/b&b in Horsham in my opinion!

Pleasant place to stay. Simple, clean, welcoming & safe.Thinly insulated, so needed to crank up heating & the truck/traffic noise was quite loud (was in the street-side room)
Working in Horsham for a few days and provided accommodation at ploughman's was very good. Clean comfortable rooms. Staff very friendly and professional. Close location to town centre and restaurants. The car park is a little small making for some tricky navigation but other than that I've had no complaints. If I'm ever in town looking for reasonable priced accommodation again I'll stay at ploughman's.
