My 17 lancer gsr was booked in for 12pm, for a replacement of the recalled starter motor. Was told mid afternoon it would be completed. Was also told I would receive a phone call when it was ready. No loan car was offered. Arrive to pick it up at 3pm as no one had called me, only to get told that the end of the day it would be ready because the mechanic was having problems (IT'S A STARTER MOTOR). Arrived at 5pm, car was parked out the front, no one STILL hadn't called me. Picked up my keys, went to my car, fuel levels had dropped, 6km was registering on the trip odometer, and the handbrake wasn't even engaged. Now I'm pretty certain they "thrashed" my car, because theres no way my fuel level had gone down that much from 6km of driving in automatic. Was i reimbursed for the fuel usage? No. But if they topped up my oil they would of charged me for that consumable, but can't even reimburse me for the fuel they used?!?!It does not take 5 and a half hours to replace a starter motor. It does not take 6km of driving to ensure install was done properly. And heres a tip, don't use paddle shifts or manual gears in SOMEONE ELSES CAR. Did you pay for my car? Do you have to pay for tyres or replacement parts? NO. SO DON'T DRIVE MY CAR HARD. I do NOT recommend this place. I will NOT be going back.
